Pay It Now was established to provide a simple, affordable, and secure way to transact with cryptocurrency. Existing payment methods were slow, expensive and complicated, making everyday transactions like buying a cup of coffee with cryptocurrency a real challenge. Businesses also struggled with limited infrastructure, while many blockchain companies prioritized consumer-focused products, often neglecting the needs of the business community.

Built on a friendship between two former aviation colleagues, Craig and Jit faced career changes when the Covid-19 pandemic hit in 2019, leading to their redundancy from major international airlines. Drawing on their shared experience in cryptocurrency trading, mining and IT development, they saw a critical gap in New Zealand’s market: the need for a fast, secure, and user-friendly crypto payment solution.
Motivated by this discovery, they set out to build the infrastructure necessary to make cryptocurrency a practical and widely adopted form of everyday currency.
