This is a significantly more sustainable and energy-efficient alternative to Proof of Work (PoW), which is commonly employed by networks such as 'Bitcoin’.

PIN Token is the native currency of the PIN Network and the official token of Pay It Now, launched in December 2021. Initially deployed on the BSC chain and later migrated to Polygon in 2022, PIN is now backed by BTC and available exclusively within the PIN Network App. As the settlement currency of the PIN Network, PIN underpins all core ecosystem activity, including payments, staking, trading, rewards, and network participation.
PIN tokens are used within the PIN Network to facilitate payments and access network features. They may be exchanged for other supported currencies within the network, subject to availability. PIN operates as a smart contract based digital token and functions in line with standard token mechanics.

When a fiat-to-crypto trade occurs anywhere on the PIN Network, A portion of the fee is rewarded to stakers. Holding PIN on our staking platform will make you eligible to earn a larger portion of these reflections (Based on amount staked) The more PIN you own and stake, the more you can earn.
